Jim Irsay’s tweet casts doubt on Peyton Manning’s future with the Colts
Earlier today, ESPN reported Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning had been cleared to play football. However, a tweet from Colts owner Jim Irsay raises questions to whether or not Manning will play again in Indianapolis.

Manning’s future with the team has been a point of contention since he had to miss the 2011 season with a neck injury. Frustrations between the Super Bowl winning quarterback and the team’s owner bubbled over last week when public comments from both men suggested a rift. Though they talked last Friday to clear the air, these conflicting reports on Manning’s health from the two camps won’t help the relationship or Manning’s chances of staying in Indianapolis.
If Manning does stay with the Colts, they will owe him a $28 million bonus.
