The Toronto Raptors’ strange, 3D-styled baseline logo

It is true that, due to a pair of stupid at-home accidents, we have recently been under the sleepy influence of over the counter pain remedies. This meant that just about all of our preseason NBA viewing from over the weekend was worked over in a goofy state. And that our short attempt at viewing the Boston Celtics‘ visit to Toronto on Sunday was marred by a halfhearted shout of “look out!” as it appeared that Raptor guard Jose Calderon was walking into a baseline sandwich board featuring his own team’s name underneath the hoop.
